I`m not at a place where I can justify spending $900 to go to Technician, but a couple hundred to get features above `standard`? Count me in.
It would provide the `Portable Version` and `Data recovery over Internet` capabilities as Technician, but it would not have `Read instability handling` integration with DeepSpar.Īs mentioned, it`s just a thought, but if your functionality could be properly cordoned off (and I imagine you already have the code to do this as you already separate `standard` R-Studio from `technician`), it could be a potentially easy way to provider users like me with another option, and an easy way for you to make a couple hundred dollars on upgrades from `standard` to `Plus` (which I would pay).
It would have the same `R-Studio Emergency` functionality as `Technician` but would not offer `Forensic mode` or `Multi-platform` (you would have to choose a platform just like standard R-Studio). Looking at the side-by-side description of R-Studio and R-Studio Technician, the `Plus` version would offer the same `Installations Per License` and `Serving third party devices` functionality as Technician, but would not be available for Commercial Use.
It would have SOME of the features of R-Studio Technician (but not all) and would be priced somewhere between the two as well.
I would love to have a license that fit between the two - maybe an `R-Studio Plus`. However, I do help friends and family with their systems when they find themselves in a bind. I am not a professional, nor do I do repair for financial gain. You currently offer R-Studio (which I have) and R-Studio Technician. This is just a product idea / suggestion.
